On the annual international exhibition of Food Processing and Packaging Propak Vietnam 2015, Vietnam Association Food Science and Technology (VAFoST) in collaboration with the Singapore exhibition service company (SES) organized the international symposium on April 1, 2015, at SECC, District 7 Ho Chi Minh City. The theme of symposium was "Processing and packaging technology for nutrition and food safety".
By the effective support from the Faculty of Food Technology - STU, the international symposium gave and focused on the topics relevant to market trends. Many reports from leading scientists attracted a lot of attendees.

Besides, a forum with the topic "Network of links between lecturers of Food Science and Technology" was held. This forum has created a link between lecturers and scientists at many trusted universities and contributed to support the academic exchange in teaching and developing career.
