In the morning of 7/21/2012, Dr. Tran Hoi Sinh - Vice President  visited and encouraged the soldier’s spirit taking  in charge “Green Summer 2012” at  Binh Thanh and  Binh An hamlets,  Binh Khanh commune, Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City

Coming there with Dr Tran Hoi Sinh, there are Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong - Party Commissioner, Deputy Manager of Student Department;  and  Nguyen Ngoc Linh - Student Union secretary, Student Association’s president, and the commanders of the volunteer campaign of Green Summer 2012 of Saigon Technology University
The vice president visited  the living children at Binh An hamlet, 03 living areas of the soldiers in Binh Khanh commune, Can Gio district.
At every address, on behalf of the school board, Dr Tran Hoi Sinh inquired after and motivated kindly the soldiers, performing their tasks at the front; reminding them keep health and tries to implement the tasks and activities throughout the campaign organized by the Committee leaders. From this, it contributes to the economic- society development at the locals are still difficult; especially creating a relationship, a good impression for resident’s places where are organized the campaigns. STU students build an impressive imagine in the resident’s. He also put belief and hoped that the soldiers would be more mature when the campaign finished.
On behalf of all teams, Mr., Do Thanh Sang – Commander of Binh Khanh front - Can Gio district, reported the first week activities as well as thanked to Mr. Tran for his action at the front. The attention of the school board was a source of great encouragement, encourages soldier’s morale to overcome difficulties and fulfill the tasks set by the campaign committee. This set a worthy picture for STU volunteer fighters and promised to make a close relationship to overcome soldier’s difficulties, complete tasks with the highest spirit; contributed to build the image of the school and local development.
On this occasion, Dr. Tran also presented the Board‘s gifts to motivate soldiers.
As known, in front of Binh Khanh hamlet, Can Gio district, with 36 soldiers divided into 3 areas in Green Summer Campaign 2012 of school will build 01 new friend house being worth 30 million VND (STU supports 20 million and Binh Khanh commune supports 10 million); donated 10 series of textbooks and 200 notebooks; awarded 20 gifts for policy family being worth 200,000 VND / section.  In addition, there will activities to improve the living environment, teaching and organizing summer activities for children, participating in cultural exchanging activities and teaching art skills activities for local young children, etc…
Binh Khanh is a poor commune of Can Gio district with a wide area and consists of 8 villages, people's life is still difficult, electricity and water are shortage, etc ...
