STU Welcomes TIM Corp Delegation to Discuss Plans for Vietnam Italian FoodTech Day 2025

On the morning of January 8, 2025, Saigon Technology University (STU) welcomed a delegation from TIM Corp to discuss plans for organizing the Vietnam Italian FoodTech Day at STU.

Representing STU were:

Prof. Dr. Sci. Lưu Duẩn, Member of the Founding Council of STU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoàng Kim Anh, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Ngọc Hòa, Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology; M.A. Lưu Mai Hương, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology and Dr. Đặng Văn Thương, Head of the Department of Scientific Management and Postgraduated  Affairs.

Representing TIM Corp were:

Mr. Victor Vũ, CEO/Founder of TIM Corp;  Ms. Cao Xuân Lộc, Director of Communications and External Affairs at TIM Corp

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoàng Kim Anh, on behalf of STU's leadership, introduced and shared insights about the Faculty of Food Technology and the university as a whole with the TIM Corp delegation. STU expressed its readiness to partner with TIM Corp to successfully host the Vietnam Italian FoodTech Day at the university. This significant event marks a new milestone in the collaboration between TIM Corp and STU.

In response to STU's warm welcome, Mr. Victor Vũ, CEO/Founder of TIM Corp, extended heartfelt gratitude to the university. He also shared that TIM Corp would work closely with STU to meticulously prepare the event, including showcasing modern food technology equipment at STU. These exhibits will provide faculty members and students with hands-on experiences.

Attendees, especially students, will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as chocolate-making, Gelato ice cream preparation, and baking, as well as enjoy a variety of delicious treats during the event. This promises to be an engaging and enriching experience for all participants.

Vietnam Italian FoodTech Day 2025, hosted at Saigon Technology University (STU), is poised to become one of the university’s most significant events of the year. The event is expected to attract a large number of STU’s faculty members, staff, alumni, and students, as well as representatives from universities, companies, and research institutes across the Southeastern and Mekong Delta regions.

This highly anticipated event will serve as a platform for academic and industrial collaboration, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in food technology and strengthening STU’s position as a hub for knowledge sharing and partnership development in the region.
