The goal of the FFT’s Food Research and Development Laboratory (FRDL) of STU is to create a dynamic and professional environment for product research and development.
The main activities of the FRDL include teaching, doing researches, and transfering technology. These are the main activities that support the Faculty of Food Technology to perform functions and tasks.
Teaching activities: providing methods to implement a product development process for students when they are studying food technology.
Research activities: providing the advanced facility and technical assistance to conduct research and development related to the food.
- Supporting technology transfer process for food companies and individuals.
- Providing facilities and supporting companies and individuals to produce and test product formulas provided by customers.
The FRDL has been supported by experienced experts in all fields of food product development. Companies or individuals can contact and collaborate with the FRDL to develop production processes that meet market demands quickly.
