Last September (7th-9th), 2019, Youth Union and Student Association of Food Technology Faculty, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and all staff of Saigon Technology University organized the Full Moon Festival with the name of “Love Moon Night” to support and encourage children in difficult circumstances both physically and mentally at Tan Ly Dong Primary School, Tan Ly Dong Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province. This event was supported by Kimson Land and Stock Company.

The Event has received special attention from the local goverment and all teachers of Tan Ly Dong Primary School. Also in this program, the Organizer Committee presented 100 gifts (500.000 VND of each) to the students from a special difficult family. Hopefully, small gifts can support them to go through a difficult time and help them to continuously study harder in the future. The “Love Moon Night” is a healthy, safe, and meaningful playground for the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is a spiritual gift for the children, encouragement, and concern of the faculty staff, Sai Gon Technology Univerisity, and sponsors.

Besides the “Full Moon Festival”, the Organizing Committee also coordinated with the locality to organize two more activities "Voluntary Footprints" and “Lightening Candles of Appreciation”. These activities include improving the Herbal Medicine Garden, decorating and greening flower beds at Tan Ly Dong Primary School, lighting candles of gratitude at the martyrs' memorial stele placed at the People's Committee of Tan Ly Dong Commune.
