The 2016 International Higher Education Day (IHED Vietnam 2016) will take place in Hanoi on March 5 and Ho Chi Minh City on March 6 with participation from 50 foreign universities.
The countries include the UK, Australia, the US, Canada, Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands, Ireland and New Zealand.
The programme, to be held by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges under the Ministry of Education and Training, aims to help Vietnamese and foreign students, postgraduates and managers share information and seek scholarships and cooperation opportunities.
There will be an exhibition and a workshop where Vietnamese students and postgraduates will be able to talk directly with representatives from the foreign universities about their scholarship programmes.
The event is scheduled to last from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Hanoi’s Pullman Hotel and the Pullman Saigon Centre in HCM City.
