On 29/09/2012, in order to review and evaluate the past 15 years achievements, the Board of Directors, the School Board of  Saigon Technology University organized a seminar with the theme "STU 15 year - Performances, Opportunities , Challenges & Development".

Attending the seminar, there  was attendance of the following guests: Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Quan, former Minister of Education and Training - Chairman of the Association of Non Public universities and colleges; Mr. Do Huu Tuyet - Deputy Director -the representative of the Ministry of Education and Training in HCM city; Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh- Director of Quality Testing Center of Education and the Association of Non Public universities and colleges; Dr. Nguyen Kim Dung- deputy director of the Research Institute of Education – Training and Teaching University,  HCM City; Prof,  PhD.. Hoang Van Kiem, former President of  Information Technology University of - National University of Ho Chi Minh City; Prof. Cao Van Phuong - Chairman, president of Binh Duong University; Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung- President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; and the representatives from the other schools, agencies, media ....
As the representatives of STU,  there were the participation of Dr. Truong Quang Mui – Chairman Of BOD; Dr. Huynh Xuan Dinh, Vice Chairman; MA. Nguyen Quang Tuyen, Vice Chairman, Mr. Ngo Van Tan, Permanent of  BOD, Prof. PhD. Dao Van Luong - President, Dr. Tran Hoi Sinh - Vice Principal, Dr. Le Hiep Tuyen - Vive Principal and the other teachers in the Board of Directors, the leadership of the Faculties, Departments, Centers and more than 250 lecturers, staff members and 200 students.

The workshop given the draft of the developing strategy in  STU to 2020, From this the school leaders, staffs, students, other agency leaders and experts give comments which the Drafting Committee can complete the strategy and send to the Board of Directors and The School Board for agreement .
