On January 4-5, 2025, the 2024-2025 Men’s Football Tournament for Officers and Lecturers of the Emulation Group 21 took place. The tournament aimed to create a fun and healthy playground to promote physical fitness and improve work efficiency. It also provided an opportunity for networking and experience-sharing among the institutions within Emulation Group 21 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 2024-2025 Men’s Football Tournament for Officers and Lecturers of the Emulation Group 21 featured the participation of seven teams from universities within the group, including:

Group A

• Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH)
• Saigon Technology University (STU)
• Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology (HUFLIT)
• Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (PNTU)

Group B

• Van Lang University (VLU)
• Hoa Sen University (HSU)
• Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU)

After an exciting and determined first day of matches filled with spectacular plays and intense competition, the men’s football team from Saigon Technology University (STU) advanced from the group stage as the second-placed team in Group A.

In the third-place playoff match, the STU men’s football team secured a resounding 7-2 victory over the men’s football team from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, earning the bronze medal.

The 2024-2025 Men’s Football Tournament for Officers and Lecturers of the Emulation Group 21 concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impression on the players and spectators who came to support the event. The tournament is expected to continue as an annual tradition, promoting physical fitness and strengthening the camaraderie among universities within the group.
